Customizer settings

To use the LLM-powered skill customizer you need an OpenRouter API key. OpenRouter routes your requests to Claude, GPT-4o, Gemini, Llama, and others with a single key. All settings below are stored only in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is sent to skillskit.dev or anyone else — API calls go directly from your browser to OpenRouter.

Get a key at openrouter.ai/keys. OpenRouter has a pay-as-you-go credit model — add $5 and you can run hundreds of customizations.

Default is Claude Sonnet 4.5 — best structural fidelity for this task. Switch to a cheaper model for bulk use or when cost matters more than quality.

What's stored and where

Your API key, model choice, and environment prefill are stored in your browser's localStorage under the skillskit.* namespace.
Nothing is sent to skillskit.dev at any point. Every customization request goes browser → openrouter.ai directly.
OpenRouter receives your prompt (the skill content + your environment) and your API key. That's it. Our servers never see either.
